Before we can move forward, we need to know what matters. That means identifying your values, your priorities, and the internal drivers that shape your behavior. Clarity isn’t just about choosing a goal—it’s about choosing the right one. The more honest you are with yourself upfront, the easier it is to stay the course when things get hard.

Every meaningful goal will, at some point, challenge your comfort zone. The brain that dreams big also second-guesses, delays, and distracts. That’s natural. Courage is what bridges the gap between knowing and doing. It’s not the absence of fear—it’s the choice to act in spite of it.

Goals don’t get accomplished overnight. They require discipline, grit, and a deep belief that your actions matter. Conviction is what keeps you showing up—on the days when motivation is gone and progress feels slow. It’s the steady confidence that effort, over time, leads to transformation.

I’m not a guru. I’m a teacher, coach, and practitioner who’s spent decades helping people make better decisions, become better leaders, and pursue goals that matter.
I bring 26 years of public service experience, including special operations and leadership roles in law enforcement. Today, I serve as an assistant professor of criminal justice at a faith-based university in Northern California. I hold a master’s degree in Public Administration and am a certified professional coach with the International Coaching Federation (ACC).
My top five Gallup CliftonStrengths—Relator, Learner, Analytical, Responsibility, Consistency—reflect my passion for trust-building, deep thinking, and problem-solving. I take a structured, clear-minded approach to personal growth, grounded in discipline and curiosity.
Outside of work, I roast my own coffee, make small-batch ice cream, and regularly dive deep into new interests as they emerge. Learning isn’t just something I teach—it’s how I live.
